1. Oslo Golfklubb -- Norway's Oldest and Most Prestigious

Founded on 13 June 1924 as Kristiania Golfklubb, Oslo Golfklubb is Norway's oldest golf club with a rich history stretching back nearly 100 years. The course is idyllically situated by Bogstadvannet, just 15 minutes from Oslo city centre.

What Makes Oslo Golfklubb Special?

The course underwent an extensive renovation between 2007 and 2009 costing over 100 million NOK, led by the American architect Steve Forrest. The renovation included the import of 4,500 lorry loads of sand from Denmark and the installation of modern SubAir systems on all greens.

Hole 14 was named "Norway's best par-4 hole" in 2016, whilst hole 12 features a spectacular waterfall right by the green. The course is ranked #3 in Norway by Golf Digest (2022) and #155 on the continent by Golf World (2023).

  • Architect: Peter Nordwall
  • Established: 2003
