How Veien til Golf works
The course is the Norwegian Golf Federation's training program and consists of three parts:
- E-learning – you complete the theory part at home, and it must be finished before the practical course.
- Practical course – around 5 hours at the club covering basic technique, shots and rules.
- On-course play – you play a few rounds on the course, often together with a mentor from the club.
There is no exam anymore. When you finish, you get a golf card and can play on all courses in Norway. Most clubs lend out equipment during the course, so you don't need to buy anything before you know whether golf is for you.
